Overview
Service being rendered to: University Grant Commission (UGC) The Government of Nepal has formulated and endorsed the National Higher Education Program (NHEP) 2021/22 – 2025/26 to develop the higher education sector in Nepal. In support of NHEP initiatives, the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Nepal has launched the Nurturing Excellence in Higher Education Program (NEHEP), funded by the World Bank. As part of this initiative, UGC is responsible for preparing Disbursement Linked Indicators (DLIs) and Disbursement Linked Results (DLRs) for the program periodically. NASC has been appointed as the Independent Verification Agency for UGC in implementing NEHEP by providing verification report of the DLI.
The major objectives of the project are to
Provide an independent (as third party) verification of the achievement of the DLIs, based on the DLI achievement report prepared by the UGC.
- Verify and properly document to what extent the DLIs as defined in the DLI matrix and respective verification protocols explained in the program document and the
