Rastriya Beema Company Limited (RBCL) was established in 2071 as a separate non-life insurance entity under the Government of Nepal. The insurance sector of Nepal has been facing numerous challenges including low public awareness and insurance penetration. To address these challenges, insurance companies have introduced new products, improved customer services, and expanded their outreach. Technological advancements have also facilitated the digitization of insurance services, making them more accessible to the general population. The competitive landscape has driven a focus on efficiency, risk mitigation, and the creation of tailored insurance schemes. Recognizing these dynamics, RBCL entrusted NASC to conduct an Organization and Management Survey to leverage structural adjustments, protect its market share, and expand into uncharted territories while competing with private insurers in the federal context. This survey enabled RBCL to remain agile and responsive in its operations, fostering growth and innovation. Additionally, the study supported RBCL in achieving its vision of becoming a leading non-life insurance company in the national market.
The major objectives of this study were to:

2. Propose a new staffing standard aligned with the new organizational structure and functions of RBCL in the federal context. the competitive landscape of non-life insurance industry in federal Nepal.
