The Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC) successfully organized the 94th Discussion Series on 8 Baishakh 2083 at Kasthamandap Hall, Sampada Sadan, NASC, on the theme “The AI Shift: Implications and Opportunities for Nepal” The event was attended by over forty participants, including NASC officials and representatives from various organizations. Mr. Gaurav Raj Pandey and Mr. Nishchhal Shrestha, served as the key speakers, while Ms. Geetanjali Upadhyaya from NASC moderated the session. The speakers shared valuable insights into the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence, highlighting its practical applications, emerging use cases, and transformative potential for governance and public service delivery in Nepal, while also addressing associated challenges such as data readiness, ethical considerations, and institutional capacity. The program formally concluded with closing remarks by Executive Director Mr. Ram Sharan Pudasaini, who thanked Mr. Pandey and Mr. Shrestha for their insightful presentation and for thoughtfully addressing questions from the floor. He highlighted the relevance of the discussion topic for NASC officials, invitees from academia, and public officials, and extended appreciation to all participants for their active engagement and contribution to the session.
