Center for Governance and State Management of Governance and Development Management Learning Group organized a 3-day training on “Gender Equality and Social Inclusion” for Officials of Department of Roads. The programme commenced on 2082 Poush 22 and ended on Poush 24. There were 19 participants in the training, 16 males and 3 females.
During the closing ceremony of the training, Ms. Bindu Adhikari, representing the participants, shared the overall experience of training. She explicitly shared learnings of each sessions and acknowledging the corresponding resource person. She thanked course coordinators, NASC and DoR for organizing this training.
Executive Director of NASC, Mr. Ram Sharan Pudasaini, GESU unit chief of DoR, Mr. Abhiman Das Mulmi and Officer of GESU, Mr. Manoj Aryal were present in the event. Mr. Mulmi shared the importance of GESI in every projects and the rational behind this training. Mr. Pudasaini in his closing remarks emphasized the importance of GESI in our lives as well as entire society. He stated that the experiences shared by one of the participants has reflected partial success of the training and added that the training would be fully successful if the trainees would implement the learnings in their workplace when back to the office.
