Under the agreement between the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC), the Capacity Development Resource Center (CDRC) has concluded a Seminar on Disbursement and Financial Management.
The two-day program began on Ashoj 15, 2083 (1 October 2026) at Bhairahawa. The overall objective of CDRC is to strengthen the institutional and human resource capacities of executing and implementing agencies (EAs/IAs), enabling them to manage, process, and implement ADB-financed projects more efficiently and effectively.
The seminar covered ADB disbursement policies and guidelines, disbursement procedures, monitoring and compliance, Statement of Expenditure (SOE) procedures and review, government accounting and CFMIP, the Technical Disbursement Facility, budgeting and reimbursement, financial management arrangements, and coordination between Project Coordination Offices (PCOs) and Project Implementation Units (PIUs).
Representatives from ADB and relevant thematic experts were present in the program. From NASC, CDRC Team Coordinator/Deputy Director of Studies Mr. Shailendra Prasad Bhatt and Training and Research Officer Ms. Sebika Thapa were present during the event.
