Participants of BAT36 (Bagmati, Karnali, and Janaki Group) went for an organization visit today (Feb 28, 2023) as a part of their study in Information and Communication Technology and Report Writing (ICT & RW) module. Bagmati group visited Department of Information Technology (DoIT), Karnali group visited Department of Land Management and Archive (DoLMA), and Janaki group visited National Information Technology Center (NITC).
The objective of the organization visit was to make participants understand usage of IT systems in the organization for service delivery; the existing IT systems (hardware, software, security) of the respective organization, human resources; business process for service delivery; leadership vision, role and policy for fostering technology; and future perspective to make efficient and transparent service delivery with the use of technology.
Mr Tej Kumar KC, Ms Kapila Shrestha, Mr Ananda Gautam and Mr Pradip Gautam from DoIT; Mr Raj Kumar Maharjan, Mr Hari Sharan Thapa and Mr Balram Kafle from DoLMA, and Mr Ramesh Prasad Pokhrel from NITC facilitated participants at their respective organizations.
The participants will now document the study as a report and present it in four thematic areas: Human Resources; Business Process; Technology; and Management & ICT Policy.
