The opening of Professional Course on Statistics and Management for class three officers (statistics officers) started from 2081/05/18, Tuesday. The program is participated by 25 statistics officers from National Statistics Offices and regional offices. During the opening ceremony Dr. Sharad Kumar Sharma, Deputy Chief Statistician, NSO and Mr. Trilochan Pokharel, Department Chief of Public Service Training Department, NASC were present. Dr. Sharma congratulated the participants on being selected for the training program and asked the participants to enjoy the training program as a learning platform as well as the step for career progression. Then Mr. Pokharel explained about the course to the participants and requested them to take the advantage of the forum as a learning and sharing platform for personal and professional growth. The opening ceremony was hosted by the coordinator of the program Dr. Shyan Kirat Rai. After the opening ceremony the socialization and technical sessions were done.
