The opening ceremony of the three days Leadership and Management Training for officials of Department of Drug Administration (DDA) was held on 8 Jestha, 2080 at The Everest Hotel in collaboration with DDA and NASC.
Mr. Basanta Raj Sigdel, Senior Director of Studies at NASC chaired the opening event. Moreover, the opening event has the presence of the other dignitaries: Mr. Bharat Bhattarai – Director General of Department of Drug Administration and Mr. Binod Kumar Bista – Centre Chief of Centre for Organization Development (COD). Ms. Anita Poudel hosted the event.
During the course introduction, Mr. Binod Kumar Bista provided a comprehensive overview of the program, explaining the principles followed in its preparation. He emphasized the inside-out approach adopted by NASC, which involves customizing the course based on the specific training needs of the participants.
Following Mr. Bista's presentation, Mr. Bharat Bhattarai underscored the significance of the program and encouraged the participants to engage in self-evaluation and active participation during the classroom sessions. He expressed his expectations for the participants to fully commit themselves to the program.
Next, Mr. Basanta Raj Sigdel delivered his opening remarks, extending a warm welcome to all the participants. He motivated them to actively contribute and make the training program as meaningful and dynamic as possible. He further emphasized the importance of recognizing one's individual responsibilities and actively contributing to the collective learning experience. He also highlighted the significance of co-construction in the program.
Ms. Anita Poudel, Mr. Pramod Niroula and Ms. Chandni Kayastha are the program management team for this three days Leadership and Management program.
