Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC) has been selected as a consultant by the University Grant Commission (UGC) as an Independent Verification Agency (IVA) for Nurturing Excellence in Higher Education Program (NEHEP). The consulting contract between NASC and UGC was signed on 31st January, 2022 at UGC office, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur. Signatory of the agreement are Prof. Shankar Prasad Bhandari, Member Secretary from UGC and Mr. Trilochan Pokharel, Senior Director of Studies from NASC. The NEHEP programme duration is of 5 years and NASC will provide the independent verification service to UGC for its activities under NEHEP for the project duration of 5 years. Both of the parties, during the agreement signing ceremony, believe that this agreement opens the avenue of mutual cooperation and support between these two government organizations and extends the hands for future scope.
