MAS Training for the newly appointed class III officers (Computer Engineers)

Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC) started the five days of Managerial and Administrative Skills (MAS) Training for the newly appointed class III officers (Computer Engineers) of the Government of Nepal on 2079/07/15, Tuesday. Executive Director of NASC, Dr. Rajan Khanal, and Centre Chief of Center for Induction Training, Mr. Trilochan Poudyal graced their presence in the opening program, and Ms. Antovna Gyawali, Training and Research Officer, hosted the program.
Antovna Gyawali welcomed all the participants and then requested Center Chief, Mr. Trilochan Poudyal for the welcome speech. Mr. Poudyal greeted the participants and briefed them about the five days training program and how it will help them manage and perform with their technical expertise and understand basic official procedures professionally immediately after the deputation/placement to assigned duty stations. Mr. Poudyal informed the participants on how NASC studied the background in order to design the course as per the requirements of computer engineers in the public sector. He focused on how the course is designed keeping in mind the backend and administrative work and its effectiveness. He concluded his speech by communicating his expectations on two ways of learning from every participant. Moving on, Ms. Gyawali welcomed Executive Director, Dr. Rajan Khanal to formally open the program. Dr. Khanal congratulated and welcomed the participants and asked the participants for active participation so that NASC can learn from their learning. Dr. Khanal expressed his gladness on how computer engineers are taking this training on managerial and administrative skills, as he wishes application of technology and IT in the improvement of public service delivery. Moreover, he conveyed his message to the participants to actively learn and participate in the training sessions in order to make effective changes in their workplaces, to ultimately make difference in service delivery. He then formally opened the program by congratulating and wishing the engineers for better future.
