Joint Meeting between

Nepal Administrative Staff College [NASC] and

Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre [BPATC]

The joint meeting between Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC) and Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC) started virtually at 1:30 via the zoom platform. The meeting commenced with the introduction of all the members of BPATC and NASC attending the meeting.

Md. Monjur Hossain, Rector, Abu Momtaz Saaduddin Ahmed, Member Directing Staff, Md. Zakir Hossain, Member Directing Staff, Md. Asraful Islam, Member Directing Staff and Mohammad Rezaul Karim, Deputy Director were the attending members from BPATC. Similarly, Dr. Rajan Khanal, Executive Director, Anand Dhakal, Sr. Director of Studies, Basanta Raj Sigdel, Sr. Director of Studies, Tulasi Sharan Sigdel, Sr. Director of Studies, Trilochan Pokharel, Director of Studies, Rajendra Adhikari, Director of Studies, Sundar Shrestha, Director of Studies, Shiva Hari Adhikari, Deputy Director of Studies and Pritha Paudyal, Training and Research Officer were the attending members from NASC.

Mr. Trilochan Pokharel gave a short presentation to introduce NASC followed by Md. Rezaul who gave a brief introduction of BPATC. Both teams discussed the important issues regarding the partnership of the two institutions. Rector proposed Mr. Trilochan Pokharel from NASC and Md. Rezaul Karim from BPATC to be the focal person for communication between these two institutions.

The Rector of BPATC and Executive Director of NASC shared their ideas on how the partnership based on MoU could be carried forward. Furthermore, both teams were asked to think of other possible mechanisms for cooperation among the two institutions. Rector from BPATC also shared that the Government of Bangladesh has agreed to support the institutions and requested NASC to negotiate with the Government of Nepal for their support.
