"Under the third phase of the agreement between the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC), the Capacity Development Resource Center (CDRC) has commenced two training programs: Training Program on Procurement of Works (Small Contracts) and Training on ADB’s Financial Management Requirements and Preparation of Project Financial Statements for officials of ADB-assisted projects.
The three-day programs began on Kartik 24, 2082 (10 November 2025) in Pokhara. The overall objective of CDRC is to enhance the institutional and human resource capacities of executing and implementing agencies (EAs/IAs), thereby enabling them to manage, process, and implement ADB-financed projects more efficiently and effectively.
Representatives from ADB, focal heads, and thematic experts were present at the program. From NASC, Mr. Shiva Hari Adhikari, Director of Studies and CDRC Project Director; Mr. Shailendra Prasad Bhatt, Deputy Director of Studies; Ms. Ashrita Dhital, Administrative and Finance Officer; and Ms. Sebika Thapa, Training and Research Officer, also attended the event.
A total of 29 participants attended the Training Program on Procurement of Works (Small Contracts), while 27 participants took part in the Training on ADB’s Financial Management Requirements and Preparation of Project Financial Statements."
