The seventh batch of the Professional Course on Management and Development (PCMD) started today (18 Poush, 2079) at Karnali Hall, Mangal Sadan. This 30 working days PCMD training is designed for the class III officers of the Government of Nepal. In the opening ceremony, Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel, Department Head of Public Service Training Department (PSTD) and Mr. Binod Kumar, Centre Chief of Center for In-Service Training (CIsT) were present as distinguished dignitaries along with the faculties of NASC. Ms. Manisha Maharjan hosted the formal program.
Mr. Binod Kumar Bista gave a brief introduction of NASC structure and its roles in training, consulting and research. Mr. Bista briefed the PCMD course redesign process, the core competency framework, and course objectives including the course contents. Following, Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel welcomed the participants and briefly highlighted on the aim of this program. He encouraged participants for their active participation to learn more knowledge and skill from the training which will be helpful at their workplaces while delivering public services. In the end, Mr. Sigdel officially opened the program by wishing everyone for successful completion of PCMD training.
The training management team for the PCMD-7th batch are Ms. Shital Moktan Tamang and Ms. Manisha Maharjan. The program will conclude on 26 Magh, 2079.
