The five days Orientation Program on Management and Development (OPMD) for newly appointed undersecretary of Government of Nepal concluded on Chaitra 16, 2080. Forty-eight participants were involved in this training program after their promotion based on seniority and work performance. Executive Director of NASC, Dr. Rajan Khanal, chaired the closing session. Center Chief of Center for Induction Training, Mr. Rajendra Adhikari hosted the ceremony. Mr. Adhikari highlighted the changed role and responsibility of participants and focused on importance of network formed during the training program. Then he called upon the representatives from each of the groups to reflect their experience on the training.
Then Dr. Rajan Khanal distributed certificate to participants after which his speech followed. First, he congratulated participants on successful completion of the training program. He also highlighted that learning is a life long process and it is necessary for survival. He said that the network and platform this training provided will be useful for participants in upcoming days of the work. He then wished them for the successful tenure ahead in the new role and announced formal closing of the program.
