On June 10, 2022, B2 Course (Procurement of Goods and consultancy services) Training for the 16, 17, and 18th Batch, and on June 14, 2022, for the 19 and 20th Batch was completed. The 11 working days training program was organized at the Nepal Administrative Staff College, Jawalakhel with the support of the World Bank, the International Training Center (ITC), and the Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) of the Nepal Government. The training was started on 30th May and June 2, 2022, respectively. Altogether 157 officers graduated from batch 16-20.
The closing and certification event was chaired by the Executive Director, NASC Dr. Rajan Khanal in presence of Mr. Trilochan Pokharel; Senior Director of Studies and Head of Governance and Development Management Learning Group, NASC, Mr. Ashok Jha; ITC/ILO Consultant, Dr. Raghu Bista; Director of Studies, NASC and the Program lead of Capacity Development and Professionalization (CDP) and other faculties and NASC officials at where representative participants from different groups shared learning experiences and provided valuable feedback for the improvement of the program.
The Chair of the Program Dr. Khanal congratulated the participants on the successful completion of the training and encouraged participants to develop themself as the procurement specialist as NASC is waiting for them as resource persons in related training with their knowledge and experiences. He also thanked partner organizations, including the world bank, ITCILO, PPMO, Ministry of Finance, and Nepal Government, for initiating and supporting this training program.
