The final two batches of B2 Course (Batch 24 and 25) Procurement of Works & Consultancy services) under Capacity Development and Professionalization (CDP) started on June 27, 2022, for 11 working days. The opening ceremony of the training program was attended by nominated officers from key sector agencies identified by the project and federal and provincial government institutions and local levels.
The event was chaired by the Senior Director of Studies, NASC, and Department Head of Governance, and Management Learning Group (GDMLG) Mr. Trilochan Pokharel. Mr. Ashok Kumar Jha, ITC/ILO Consultant; Mr. Tulshi Ram Basnet, a representative from the PPMO office; Dr. Raghu Bista, Director of Studies. NASC and the Program lead of Capacity Development and Professionalization (CDP)were present at the opening ceremony organized in the auditorium Hall with other NASC officials. 
In the opening ceremony, Mr. Basnet shared the idea behind the initiation of the project from the Nepal Government in coordination with the World Bank and ITC/ILO as well as the program outlines. He also thanked NASC management for support in this project which is running the last two batches for B2 training from 25 Batches. Senior Director of Studies -NASC, Mr. Pokharel welcomed the participants of the program and shared the need and objective of this training program. He also expected constructive feedback on the overall course, and management of NASC from participants and also encouraged active participation in sessions with their experience and needs.
The opening ceremony was hosted by Ms. Gyan Laxmi Shrestha, deputy director of studies, at NASC.
The course is structured on 11 working-day agenda, where 3 sessions per day will be presented, till July 8, 2022.
