Sixth Batch of PCMD starts on Shrawan 22, 2078

The sixth batch of Professional Course on Management and Development (PCMD) for fiscal year 2078/79 started on Shrawan 22, 2078. This Course is designed for class-III officers of the Government of Nepal.

The formal opening ceremony was hosted by Mr. Lila Nath Sapkota (Training Coordinator). Mr. Sapkota introduced and welcomed the chairperson Mr. Bishnu Prasad Lamsal (Senior Director of Studies and Department Head of Public Service Training Department), dignitaries, faculties and all the participants of the training program.

Mr. Binod Kumar Bista, Director of Studies and Chief of the Center for In-Service Training (CIST) gave a brief introduction of NASC structure, functions as well as the course structure for PCMD. Mr. Binod Kumar Bista also expressed that NASC aim is to provide knowledge and skills through our training programmes and requested all the participants for proper application of knowledge and skill in their workplace.

Following, Mr. Bishnu Prasad Lamsal welcomed the participants and briefly highlighted on the aim of this program. He encouraged participants to utilize the opportunity to learn more knowledge and skill which will be helpful at their work places while delivering public services.

In the second session, Ms. Achala Dahal, Director of Studies and center chief of Program Monitoring and Evaluation Committee (PMEC) shared the evaluation criteria of the training program and also highlighted the weightage of all module including attendance and behavior for final result. Technical orientation was given to the trainees by Mr. Bipin Ojha, a member of the Centre for Knowledge Management and Information Technology (CKMIT). Instruction about using the virtual platform; Google Meet, Google Classroom and document management system was given to the participants for technical charity which will be used throughout the training period.
