The 51^st installment of Senior Executive Development Programme (SEDP) started from Poush 1, 2082. Twenty-five senior executives (Joint Secretaries) from Government of Nepal participated in the program. Center chief of Center for In-Service Training (CiST), Dr. Raghu Bista hosted the opening ceremony. He welcomed all the participants and provided the context of 51^st SEDP. Then introduction of the participants was done where the participants shared their learning expectation from the training. They mentioned about learning to enhance their knowledge and attitude to perform as a leader in the current bureaucratic scenario of Nepal, also they expect to use this opportunity to create network among them for better coordination in future.

Department chief of Public Service Department, Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel then welcomed the participants and briefly described about the design modality of the SEDP program and encouraged for the peer learning and sharing of their own experiences in the learning forum. He mentioned that the program has been regularly updated with the feedback from the previous participants.

Then Executive Director, Mr. Ram Sharan Pudasaini welcomed the participants on-behalf of NASC. He mentioned SEDP as the flagship program designed to develop the senior executives to tackle the current situation and develop effective leadership skills. He ensured that NASC will meet with the expectations from the senior executives and formally opened the program.
