
The Leadership Excellence Training for senior officials of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) commenced on 12th Shrawan, 2082 at Araniko Hall, Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC). The inaugural event was graced by Mr. Ram Sharan Pudasaini, Executive Director of NASC, and Mr. Binod Kumar Bista, Senior Director of Studies and Head of the Management Learning Group, along with the training management team from the Center for Organizational Development.
Mr. Bista welcomed the participants and introduced them to NASC, emphasizing the longstanding institutional partnership between NEA and NASC. In his welcome remarks, he highlighted the significance of the training as part of a continuous learning journey. He stated that the program aims to provide a reflective, practice-informed, and forward-looking learning environment, where participants can deepen self-awareness, refine managerial skills, and strengthen their capacity to meet NEA's evolving mandate.
Mr. Pudasaini, in his opening remarks, welcomed the senior officials and acknowledged their active participation in the training. He highlighted the commitment of NASC faculty members as dedicated facilitators focused on delivering high-quality training. He elaborated on how NASC integrates advanced tools and methodologies rooted in adult learning principles and assured the participants that the insights and knowledge gained throughout the program would be directly applicable to their professional responsibilities. Concluding his remarks, he extended his best wishes for a meaningful and enriching learning experience for all participants.
The training program is scheduled to run for seven working days.
