
The Research and Consulting Service Department under the Centre for Research and Development, Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC), successfully organized a one-day Workshop on Teaching Case Development on 29 Mangsir 2082 (15 December 2025) at its premise.
The workshop brought together 15 participants, ranging from Senior Assistant to Director level, including 9 female and 6 male officials. It emphasized practical, result-oriented teaching case development and covered two key components: (i) Introduction to Teaching Case Development and Drafting Core Elements and (ii) Drafting the Teaching Case: Structure, Writing, and Use in Training. Associate Professor Dr. Binod Krishna Shrestha from the Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM), Nepal, served as the resource person and facilitated the sessions through interactive discussions and hands-on exercises.
The workshop was successfully conducted, strengthening participants’ capacity to develop and apply teaching cases effectively in public-sector training programs.
