
Center for Governance and State Management of Governance and Development Management Learning Group organized a 5-day training on “E-Governance and Cyber Security” for IT officers of Public institutions. The programme commenced on 2082 Kartik 24 and ended on Kartik 28. There were 37 participants in the training, 33 males and 4 females.
During the closing ceremony of the training, Mr. Harikaji Rai, representing the participants, shared the overall experience of training. He shared that this training was platform where every participant shared their own experiences, discussed about existing challenges and created a network of IT experts for future learning. Furthermore, he appreciated NASC for organizing such trainings which truly contributed in building capacity of employees who need training to perform better. Furthermore, he suggested that by international best practices and future threats in the training would make the training the best.
Executive Director of NASC, Mr. Ram Sharan Pudasaini, Department Head of Governance and Development Management Learning Group, Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel and Center Chief of Center for Governance and State Management, Mr. Trilochan Poudyal were present in the event. Mr. Pudasaini in his closing remarks emphasized the importance of e-governance in making the service deliver timely, efficient and accessible. In this scenario, he mentioned that the training would actually be successful if the trainees would implement the learnings in their workplace when back to the office. Furthermore, he reiterated participants to use the network in sharing their issues that they have been facing and help others through their experiences.
