Successful Conclusion of 3-day Training of Trainers Program

The Training of Trainers Program for officials from both public and private organizations ended on July 03, 2024. Twenty officers representing nine diverse organizations participated in the program. The program was chaired by Dr. Rajan Khanal, Executive Director of the NASC. Mr. Uttam Acharya, Director of Studies, was also present in the graduation ceremony.

Ms. Sapana Subba delivered remarks on behalf of the program participants. She expressed deep appreciation for the training, describing it as an exceptionally insightful experience. Ms. Subba mentioned that all the sessions have been insightful to make the participants better and confident and appreciated NASC for providing the platform to network with individuals from various sectors. She expressed her gratitude to NASC for meticulously managing the program.

Dr. Khanal, in his closing remarks, highlighted the characteristics of adults in learning and how trainers should be mindful regarding this. He noted that T0T is an art of persuasion and therefore trainers should know how to persuade the participants. He emphasized that the program allowed participants to learn the training methodologies and practical aspects of facilitation and presentation skills. Dr. Khanal reiterated that the program's primary focus was to enhance knowledge, refine skills, and produce a new cadre of trainers. He also thanked the institutions that nominated the participants for the training and anticipated for the continuous support. Ms. Antovna Gyawali hosted the formal event.
