The Training of Trainers (TOT) program for the officials of National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) concluded on July 5th, 2024. Dr Rajan Khanal, Executive Director of NASC, chaired the event. Mr. Binod Kumar Bista, Senior Director of Studies and Mr. Uttam Acharya, Director of Studies, were also present in the graduation ceremony.
Mr. Komal Prasad Dhamala, representing the participants, expressed profound gratitude for the insightful training and praised its impact on their disaster related perspective, training methodologies and facilitation skills. He acknowledged the collaborative effort between NASC and NDRRMA in organizing the program. 
In his closing remarks, Dr. Khanal highlighted the reflective journey that participants undertook during the program. He emphasized on the significance of disaster related content-based training, given Nepal's diverse geo-climatic system that renders the country vulnerable to natural disasters. He also noted that the program allowed participants to learn the training methodologies and practical aspects of facilitation and presentation skills.  
Dr. Khanal reiterated that the program's primary focus was to enhance knowledge, refine skills, and develop a new cadre of trainers who work on disaster risk reduction. Ms. Sebika Thapa hosted the formal event.
