Submission of Senior Executive Development Programme (SEDP) Effectiveness Evaluation Report

The technical team led by Deputy Executive Director Mr. Bishnu Prasad Lamsal handed over SEDP effectiveness evaluation report to the Executive Director Dr. Rajan Khanal on 1st Shrawan, 2081. This report serves as a milestone to review and redesign the existing SEDP course provided by NASC to the aspiring secretaries of Government of Nepal. The report is an outcome of a rigorous study that adopted a qualitative approach to obtain experiences and insider perspectives from the SEDP graduates and Participants from SEDP 38th to 44th, including both virtual and in-person training modes. This study is one of the fundamental means through which NASC could identify the impact the SEDP course has made on participants at both the individual as well as at organizational levels. In addition to this, the outcome of this study serves as a backbone for NASC to assess the significance, rigor, appropriateness, and relevance of the SEDP course and identify measures NASC has to adopt to redesign the SEDP course and sustain it over time. Apart from this, the report serves as a platform to design and deploy focused and tailored interventions to effectively align the individual needs of SEDP participants to that of the public sector organizations in the days to come.
