The student officers of Leadership and Management Training Program that is being organized for Student Officers of Army Command and Staff College engaged in different outdoor sports as part of “Leading Team and Engaging People – Fostering Collaborative Spirit” session. This engaging initiative focused on identifying practical approaches to enhancing people engagement for improved performance and emphasized the importance of team building as a cornerstone of effective coordination and collaboration.

As part of the session, the student officers competed in a series of outdoor sports, divided into two teams: Rhino and Danphe. Team Rhino triumphed in the football competition, while Team Danphe showcased their strength and versatility by winning in Volleyball, Badminton, and the Tug of War. With these victories, Team Danphe emerged as the ultimate champion of the team-building exercise, securing the highest overall points.

Following the activities, both teams participated in a reflective discussion on the key skills necessary for building high-performing teams. They emphasized the importance of synergy, team efficacy, leadership qualities, esprit de corps, and the complementary skills of individual members—all essential elements of successful teamwork and collaboration.
