As a part of the Government and Service Delivery (GSD) Module of the 36th BAT, participants of the Karnali, Bagmati, and Janaki groups successfully executed the simulation of Municipal/Village Assemblies at their respective groups. The simulation was conducted under the two-day session of Organizing Municipal Assembly from 20th-21st Chaitra 2079. The main objective of the session was to provide theoretical as well as practical knowledge to participants in terms of explaining the composition of municipal/village assemblies and the processes of organizing the municipal/village assemblies.
The sessions were facilitated by the team of the National Association of Rural Municipalities in Nepal (NARMIN): Mr. Rajendra Pyakurel; Mr. Dipak Shrestha and Mr. Jhankar Kunwar along with NASC faculties at Bagmati, Janaki, and Karnali groups respectively.
