Opening Program of PCMD 10th Batch

The 10th batch of Professional Course on Management and Development (PCMD) commenced on 2079/10/09, Monday at Nepal Administrative Staff College, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur. There are 28 class three or equivalent level trainee officers representing different ministries of the Government of Nepal and public institutions. The opening ceremony was chaired by Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel, Senior Director of Studies. Mr. Binod Kumar Bista, Chief of the Centre for In-Service Training was also presented in the opening program and the program hosted by Mr Shailendra Prasad Bhatt.

Mr. Bista welcomed the participants and highlighted the PCMD course redesign process, the core competency framework, and commitment of NASC to make training program more effective and relevant to current context. Mr. Bista also highlighted the objectives of the course and expressed his expectation from participants to make classroom session more useful and interactive. In this foundation, he requested all the participants for their active and useful participation in learning activities.

Senior Director of Studies Mr. Sigdel also welcomed all the participants and articulated the importance of program to grab the learning opportunity for further growth. He requested all the participants to take training program as an opportunity for cross-learning and apply for further capacity enhancement. The coordinators for the training program are Mr. Shailendra Prasad Bhatt and Ms. Antovna Gyanwali. The coordinators also welcomed all the participants in the training and highlighted the course requirements along with the basic norms of the training.
