Opening Ceremony of Training on Negotiation Skills for the officers of public organizations

 

The 3 days training Program on ‘Negotiation Skills’ for the Officers of the public organizations started on Ashadh 15, 2079. The purpose of this program is to impart skills in Officers to enhance their negotiation skills. Center for Organization Development (COD) under the Management Learning Group(MLG) is organizing the program. Mr. Basanta Raj Sigdel, Senior Director of Studies and Department Head of Management Learning Group chaired the opening ceremony. Mr. Binod Kumar Bista, Director of Studies and Centre Head of Centre for Organization Development was the distinguished guest of the opening ceremony.

Mr. Bista formally opened the program by welcoming the participants and introducing NASC and the center organizing the program. He highlighted over the importance of negotiation skills in the rapidly changing and complex environment and shed light on the ‘skills-mix’ required in Officers to be an effective and impactful negotiator.

Chair of the Opening Ceremony, Mr. Sigdel welcomed all the participants and highlighted over the ways through which this three-day training creates a learning and interactive platform to broaden the horizon of knowledge and enhance the skills required for impactful negotiation. He further added that the training will not only focus on contents, but also on practical exercises that are aimed to develop effective and impactful negotiation skills. Ms. Shushma Chitrakar, Deputy Director of Studies at NASC was the master of ceremony for the Opening Ceremony.
