Nepal Administrative Staff College organized a program to welcome the newly appointed Minister of Federal Affairs and General Administration (MoFAGA) Hon’ble  Bhagwati Neupane on 19th Shrawan, 2082. Ms. Neupane is also the Chairperson of the Governing Council of Nepal Administrative Staff College. The Executive Director of NASC Mr. Ram Sharan Pudasaini, the Secretary of MoFAGA Mr. Rabilal Panth, Senior Directors, Directors and other staff were present in the program.
In the welcome speech, Executive Director Mr. Pudasaini briefly highlighted the activities of NASC and Mr. Basanta Raj Sigdel presented brief introduction about NASC. Mr. Sigdel highlighted about the objectives of NASC, structure and functions including major training programs, physical facilities and annual target and achievements. Secretary at Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration Mr. Rabi Lal Panth thanked NASC team for the opportunity to grace Welcome Ceremony to the Hon’ble Minister. He also highlighted the need to innovate capacity building programs to attune the dynamics of governance system and changing aspirations of citizens.
As a gratefulness for warm welcome at NASC, Hon'ble Minister, Ms. Neupane, underscored the strategic importance of NASC to enhancing the capacity of Nepal's civil service for effective and efficient service delivery, and create a hope for the people. She directed NASC to further boost up its role focusing on training innovation and policy research. Ms. Neupane accentuated the need for innovation in public sector capacity development, calling on NASC to act as a catalyst in equipping government officials with the skills and mindset necessary for responsive, transparent, and citizen-focused administration. During NASC visit, Hon'ble Minister also had an observation of ongoing training sessions.
