
A two-day Learning Reflection and Consolidation Program of the Strategic Executive Development Programme (SEDP) Batch 49 was successfully organized at Dhulikhel Lodge Resort.
On the first day, participants visited Dhulikhel Municipality, where they were warmly welcomed by Mayor Mr. Ashok Kumar Byanju. During the visit, the Mayor provided an insightful overview of the ongoing local-level development initiatives within the municipality. The participants also visited the Dhulikhel Drinking Water Supply Project, titled "Safe Drinking Water for a Healthy Life", where they observed the management of drinking water sourced from Rosi Khola. The initiative was widely appreciated by the participants, who praised the progressive efforts led by the Mayor for the overall development of the municipality.
The second day featured presentations from each of the five policy groups, centered around the theme of Monitoring and Evaluation Policy. The session was facilitated by Mr. Rajendra Adhikari, Chief of the CIT Centre. Following the presentations, Mr. Trilochan Pokharel, Department Head, congratulated the participants on their commendable efforts and provided constructive suggestions to further enhance and refine their policy documents.
The program concluded with closing remarks by Deputy Executive Director Mr. Bishnu Prasad Lamsal. He expressed his sincere appreciation for the participants’ dedication and hard work, and encouraged them to strive for excellence in finalizing their policy documents, with a focus on ensuring they are both implementable and impactful.
