Graduation ceremony of Leadership Excellence Program-NTA

The 15 days long Leadership Excellence Programme for Class I and Class II officers of Nepal Telecommunications Authority(NTA) has successfully completed today (2079/10/03) at Bheri hall of Mangal Sadan. This customized programme was designed based on the Learning Needs Assessment(LNA) of Class I and Class II officers of NTA. The graduation ceremony was chaired by the gracious presence of the Executive Director Dr. Rajan khanal, along with the Senior Director of Studies and Head of Management Learning Group Mr. Basanta Raj Sigdel, and the centre chief- Centre for Organization Development; Binod Kumar Bista. The Chairperson of NTA Mr. Purushottam Khanal was also present in the programme. Mr. Pramod Niroula hosted the programme and welcomed all the participants in the programme. He then, briefly shed light over the technical progression of the programme and the way it has been delivered. Mr. Dipesh Acharya shared his experience and reflections on behalf of the participants and mentioned that the programme was instrumental enough to hone their individual knowledge, skills and attitude that could now be used collectively at their workplace to improve overall organizational performance and efficiency of NTA once they assume office. He also highlighted over the prompt disciplinary conducts and managerial efficacy of training management team and NASC at large to create a conducive learning environment during the entire training. In his remarks, chairperson of NTA Mr. Purushottam Khanal acknowledged NASC and its team for bridging the Knowlegde, Skills and Attitude (KSA) gaps of senior officials of NTA and believed that this program brings visible outcomes and desired changes in participants’ Actions, Decisions, and Behaviors to transform regulatory authority like NTA into a learning organization in the days to come.  He finally wished all the best to the participants for their valuable and meaningful contribution in this endeavor and assured that NTA shall be extending collaborative hands with NASC to continue such meaningful and lively programmes in the days to come as well.  In his graduation remarks, the Executive Director Dr. Rajan Khanal congratulated all the participants for successfully completing all the learning components of the programme and wished them all the best for their future endeavors. He further expressed his belief that the Knowledge and Skills mix provided by this program shall be visibly witnessed in participants’ job roles and functions once they assume their office.  Faculty members from Centre for Organization Development (COD), Ms. Anita Poudel, Mr. Pramod Niroula and Ms. Chandni Kayastha were the coordinators of the programme.
