In a meeting organized today with the senior management, former Executive Director Dr. Rajan Khanal shared his insights gained in the journey of leading NASC for last five years. He briefly highlighted the key achievements in enhancing quality of training programs, infrastructure development, systems improvements and extending collaboration with capacity building institutions at domestic as well as international level. He also shared key imperatives for NASC in the journey of excellence. They include academic transformation with capacity building of staffs and supportive legislations; infrastructure development at Namo Buddha, Kavre; technology enabled learning innovations; and reform in training policies and standards as per changing needs of public sector. He also handed over the Report of his five years’ reflections and future avenues of reforms to the newly appointed Executive Director Mr. Ram Sharan Pudasaini.
Executive Director Mr. Ram Sharan Pudasaini expressed gratitude to Dr. Khanal for sharing such invaluable insights and imperatives that would guide future decisions, actions and behavior of NASC leadership and entire team. He regarded Dr. Khanal’s Report as an asset of NASC and extended sincere thanks for establishing a culture of sharing to succeeding leadership as well as fostering institutional memory of the institution. In the moment, he also recalled their shared professional journey in the Government of Nepal with different roles.
