Five day Executive Development Programme (EDP) starts

Executive Development Programme (EDP), a five-day development programme organized for the Senior Executives of Public Enterprises was inaugurated amidst the presence of Executive Director (ED) of NASC Dr. Rajan Khanal, Centre Chief of Centre for In-service Training (CIsT), Mr. Binod Kumar Bista, faculties of NASC and participating senior executives from various Public Enterprises( PE)s.

Mr. Binod Kumar Bista welcomed the participants while sharing the rationale behind designing the programme. He further elaborated on the detail course contents and their relevance to the capacity enhancement of the senior executives. He wished the participants for a wonderful learning experience and interactive participation in the training.

Followed by a short introduction programme, Dr. Rajan Khanal during his inaugural speech, shared insights on the role of PEs in the national economy and development as a whole. He expressed his optimism that this programme proves to be a useful forum for discussing the reoriented role of senior executives in leading the agenda of national development.

The coordinator of the programme, Ms. Shailaja Upadhyaya facilitated the inauguration ceremony along with the training management team members, Ms. Saroja Shakya and Mr. Sabin Bishankhe. There are 20 senior executives participating in the programme.
