Commencement of Training Program on Financial Management and Audit for the Officials of Nepal Oil Corporation Limited

The Training Program on Financial Management and Audit for the Officials of Nepal Oil Corporation Limited commenced on Mangsir 18, 2080 at Karnali Hall, Mangal Sadan amidst the gracious presence of senior officials of NASC and NOC. 
In the opening ceremony, Senior Director of Studies and Department Head of Management Learning Group (MLG) Mr. Binod Kumar Bista, and Director of Studies and Center Chief of Center for Financial Management (CFM) Mr. Bladeb Prasad Joshi were present as distinguished dignitaries along with the faculties and staffs of NASC. Similarly, Deputy Managing Director Mr. Nagendra Sah was present as a distinguished dignitary along with other officials of Nepal Oil Corporation Limited. The coordinator of the program Mr. Krishna Bahadur Thapa welcomed the participants and started the formal program.
Director of Studies Mr. Baldeb Prasad Joshi welcomed the participants and briefed them about the training program where he emphasized the course’s objective to sharpen the knowledge and capability of participants in the areas of financial management and audit so that they can make prudent financial decisions to achieve the organizational objectives effectively and efficiently. Deputy Managing Director Mr. Nagendra Sah also put forward his welcome remarks sharing his expectations behind organizing the training program. Then, Senior Director of Studies Mr. Binod Kumar Bista put forward his opening remarks emphasizing the importance of financial management training for capacity building of finance practitioners. Finally, Mr. Bista put forward his concluding remarks by wishing all the participants to make the best use of this amazing learning opportunity by sharing problems and difficulties faced during financial management practice at the workplace so that the training program can help them overcome those issues. 

The training management team for the training program are Mr. Gobinda Bhandari, Mr. Krishna Bahadur Thapa, and Ms. Anjali Verma. The training program will conclude on Mangsir 26, 2080.
