
Professional Course on Management and Development (PCMD) commenced from 3 Magh, 2079 at Rara Hall, Dikshya Sadan for class III and equivalent officers of various Government organizations. The training is organized by Center for Inservice Training(CIsT) of Public Service Training Department (PSTD). There are total 26 participants from various government organizations. The opening ceremony started at 9:15 am and dignitaries, Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel, Department Head of PSTD and Mr. Binod Kumar Bista, Center Chief of CisT were present at the ceremony.
Ms. Pratibha Dhungana hosted the program and welcomed the valued dignitaries and participants. Ms. Dhungana shortly briefed about presence of four modules in the program and invited Mr. Bista to highlight the overview of the program. Mr Bista briefly explained about Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC) and expressed that this training program is designed on the basis of the need of the officials. He further added that this training program is modified on the basis of changing context and demand of service recipients. He highlighted the importance of each modules and its importance on the lateral as well as vertical growth of participants.
Ms Dhungana thanked Mr. Bista for his valuable remarks and invited Mr. Sigdel to provide his opening remarks. Mr Sigdel highlighted that Rara Hall is learning lab/learning platform for this training period and encouraged participants to optimum use this platform to foster learning. He added that this platform is an opportunity to exchange ideas and arrive at solutions to the problems by cross learning various experiences of one another. He closed the opening ceremony by welcoming all the participants to NASC and asked them to enjoy learning as well as the natural environment until the training period.
