Closing Ceremony of Training on Research Proposal Writing

Training on Research Proposal Writing was organized by Center for Research and Development (CRD) for Officials of National Animal Science Research Institute (NASRI). The four-day training commenced on 17 Jestha, 2079 at NASC premises and the closing ceremony was held on 20 Jestha 2079. Mr. Bishnu Prasad Lamsal, Deputy Executive Director of NASC chaired the event and Mr. Ananda Raj Dhakal, head of Research and Consulting Services Department was also present in the ceremony. Ms. Pritha Paudyal, training coordinator hosted the event and welcomed all the dignitaries, participants and training facilitators present there.

Dr. Shishir Bhandari, a participant of the training shared his learning experiences during the training on behalf of 25 participants from NASRI. He shared that the facilitators at NASC have worked very hard and have done their best to transfer their intellectual knowledge on research proposal writing to the participants. Furthermore, he thanked NASRI and NASC for organizing such a wonderful training.

Mr. Dhakal congratulated all the participants for completing the training with active participation and mentioned that he was happy to have organized this training. While Dr. Bhandari share good things; had he said also about the improvement areas, we could have addressed it in future. He further added, “from Dr. Bhandari’s sharing, it can be understood that the objective of the training seems to have met.” However, he believed that the training would be successful in real terms if they implemented their learning in their real lives. Hence, he requested all the participants to implement the things that they have learnt during the training in their workplace and wished them a prosperous career ahead.

Mr. Lamsal awarded all the participants with the training completion certificates and gave his closing remarks. He began his remarks stating that usually participants in the closing ceremony share only good things and Dr. Bhandari’s sharing was no different than others. However, skimming the training evaluation forms filled up by the participants (which was in front of him on the table), he realized few things that could be improved from our side in the trainings to be conducted in the future. Finally, with an expectation that the participants would implement their learnings beyond the training hall, he concluded the ceremony.
