Closing Ceremony of Managerial Capacity Enhancement Training

Managerial Capacity Enhancement Training organized by the Center for Organizational Development under Management Learning Group for the Senior of Nepal Agricultural Research Council (NARC) ended on 25th Jestha 2079. Twenty-Five officers participated on the 8 days training. The closing ceremony was chaired by Mr Bishnu Prasad Lamsal, Deputy Executive Director of NASC. Dr Doj Raj Khanal, Director of Nepal Agricultural Research Council. Mr Binod Kumar Bista, Director of studies was present on the ceremony. 

Dr Neena Amatya Gorkhali spoke on behalf of the participants and stated that the training has been very insightful in inculcating crisis management, time management and self-management skills. She emphasized that such training should be given before one takes up the leadership or managerial role.  

Similarly, Tulasi Paudel also represented the participants and highlighted that the journey of eight days has been very effective and smooth. He expressed that this platform gave the participants opportunity to know each other more and enrich the bonding to make them feel like a family.

Mr Bista shared that NASC believes that the participants will apply the learnings in their future work domain. He also thanked NASRI and NARC for sending their employees for the training and expects this collaboration to continue in the days to come. He also expressed his gratitude towards the participants for putting up the energy to learn and wished them luck for their future endeavors.

Dr Khanal from NARC said that NASC has always played a crucial role on empowering their employees. He congratulated the participants on completing the training and expected that the participants will now become more informed and aware leaders to lead their respective departments/divisions.

Mr Lamsal congratulated the participants. He mentioned that the participants’ performance from now on is attached to NASC and therefore hoped that participants will justify their performances. He also wished the participants good luck.
