Closing and Graduation of ACMD for 9th Level CAAN Officials

The closing and graduation ceremony of the Advanced Course on Management and Development (ACMD) for officials of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) was held on 2079/07/25.

The event was chaired by the Executive Director of NASC Dr. Rajan Khanal, and the chief guest of the event was the Deputy Director General and Spokesperson of CAAN Mr Jagannath Niroula. The program was also blessed with the presence of Senior Director of Studies Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel and Director of Studies Mr. Trilochan Paudyal. The event was hosted by Mr. Tara Prasad Kharel.

Mr. Rajendra Singh Nayak, on behalf of all the participants, shared his training experience. He expressed that all the modules of the training program were very useful in translating theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge and helpful in taking rational decisions. Mr. Sigdel congratulated all the participants for the successful completion of the training. He briefly expressed the importance of teamwork and team spirit in professional life. He further requested all participants to identify and apply the innovative idea of public service.

The chief guest of the program, Mr. Niraula thanked NASC for providing such an effective and relevant training to the participants. He remembered the backend work before the training that NASC and CAAN did in cooperation to design the course best-fit for the participants. He emphasized the importance of human power in any organization and wished for long-term cooperation between NASC and CAAN for the human capacity development of CAAN.

At the end of the graduation ceremony, Dr. Khanal congratulated the participants and wished them a better professional career. He expressed that being innovative in service design and emphatic in service delivery are major components of quality services. He further hopes that this program energizes all participants to take innovative initiatives to create a better service environment.

Altogether 30 participants graduated from the training program. The batch was coordinated by Mr Tara Prasad Kharel, Mr Bikalpa Pokharel and Mr Bipin Ojha.
