The certification and closing ceremony of Professional Course on Management and Development (PCMD) fourth batch that started from 14 Sharwan 2078 was virtually held on 12 Ashwin 2078. The event was chaired by Executive Director of NASC Dr. Rajan Khanal; Deputy Executive Director and Head of Public Service Training Department (PSTD) of NASC Mr. Bishnu Prasad Lamsal; Director of Studies and Chief of Center for In-Service Training (CiST) of NASC Mr. Binod Kumar Bista. During the ceremony, Mr. Rajendra Neupane as a representative of participants thanked NASC for the overall implementation and successful completion of the training program. He shared his reflection of learnings from each and every modules of the training. Moreover, he praised the effective execution of last module Engaging with Local Governments (ELG) which was also carried out virtually. Additionally, Mr. Neupane on behalf of all thirty participants expressed to reflect and commit the learnings in four areas: i) Making effective service delivery, ii) Maintaining ethics and dignity at workplace, iii) Improving work environment, and iv) Maintaining effective coordination with the service seekers and service providers. Following the reflections from participants, Mr. Binod Kumar Bista congratulated all the participants for completing the training program and suggested to reflect the knowledge and skills gained in their behavior and attitude in the enhancement of public service delivery of GoN. The chair of the closing program, Dr. Khanal congratulated the participants on successful completion of the training. He reminded all the participants that this training programme is not of securing highest marks or merit thing instead this is for the enhancement to all to add up on their present working environment and culture. He shared how this training aspire to bring improvement in effective public service delivery and advised to reflect the learnings to their day-to day work culture. This fourth batch of PCMD was attended by thirty participants and all of them graduated in first division. Out of thirty participants, Ms. Richa Bhattarai became the topper of the group. Lastly, the coordination team, Mr.Gobinda Bhandari and Ms. Roshani Bhujel congratulated all the participants for successfully completing the training program.
