Advanced Training on Occupational Health and Safety for the Transport Sector

Under the ongoing third phase of the agreement between the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC), the Capacity Development Resource Center (CDRC) has commenced the Advanced Training on Occupational Health and Safety for the Transport Sector.

The four-day program began on Mangsir 15, 2082 (1 December 2025) in Bardibas. The overall objective of CDRC is to strengthen the institutional and human resource capacities of executing and implementing agencies (EAs/IAs), enabling them to manage, process, and implement ADB-financed projects more efficiently and effectively.

The Principal Environment Specialist and Focal Head from ADB, along with thematic experts, were present during the program. From NASC, Mr. Shailendra Prasad Bhatt, Deputy Director of Studies and CDRC Team Coordinator, and Ms. Sebika Thapa, Training and Research Officer, participated in the event.

A total of 28 participants attended the training program.
