Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC) celebrated its 32nd establishment day (NASC Day) on 23rd Ashwin 2071 at the premises of NASC. The program was chaired by NASC executive director Mr. Punya Prasad Neupane. The chief guest of the program was minister of Ministry of General Administration (MoGA), Mr. Lal Babu Pandit. The other guest were Ms. Kayo Devi Yami, chairperson of Public Service Commission, Mr. Lila Mani Poudel, Chief Secretory of Nepal Government, Mr. Nainadra Prasad Upadhaya secretory of Ministry of General Administration, Mr. Goracha Bahadur Nucche Pradhan, first executive director of NASC, Mr. Balanada Poudel, member of executive committee.
Dr. Tarak Bahadur K.C, Deputy Executive Director of NASC welcomed everybody with the welcome speech where he summarized the past and present scenario of NASC. Mr. Binay Hari Maskey, president of Employee talked about the betterment of the employees of NASC. Mr. Balanand Poudel also congratulated NASC for achieving another milestone in its year and suggested NASC to focus on the development of human capacity within that will eventually benefit Nepal Government. Mr. Goracha Bahadur Nucche Pradhan congratulated NASC on reaching to this stage. MoGA secretory extended his congratulations with the challenges of NASC to fulfil the gap in human resource recruitment and development. Chief Secretory emphasized on the betterment of NASC with the change and adaption it is following with time. The chief guest handed awards of NRs 10,000.00 each and certificates to the two best employees for the year to Mr. Tulasi Saran Sigdel, Deputy Director of Studies and Mr. Urgen Dorje Sherpa, Senior Assistant. Then he provided the medals and certificates to the participants of various events organized on the NASC day. Then the chief guest congratulated NASC for completing another year and providing its continuous service to Nepal Government. He also emphasized on proper utilization of the investment from Nepal Government and proposed NASC to develop its training at international level.
Mr. Yuba Raj Bhusal, Senior Director and Coordinator of the NASC day program thanked every one of the participants in making the program successful and meaningful. Then the Executive closed the program with the commitment to make NASC better in coming days. The program was then followed by cultural program from Nepal Saskritik Kalakar Sangh and NASC employees and dinner.
